A Little of This, and a Little of That

Life is keeping us running lately. Little league has started and we'll be living at the ballpark now (like we weren't there constantly before now). Just a little update on everyone...

Treyson set a goal at the first of the year to hit a home run this year. Well, yesterday Nate took the kids to the fields for some practice hitting. Trey must have found the sweet spot because he hit not one, not two or three, but four home runs! He was pretty ecstatic (so were his parents)! Now he just wants to get one over in a game, when it really counts. He had his first piano recital and did awesome!

Tan-Man is loving playing baseball on a traveling team, just like his older brother. In his last tournament they even won a game (that's a big deal for these little beginners)! He's also playing soccer and has scored eight goals in his first three games.

Quincy just keeps us going with all of her silliness. She went with the boys to the ballpark yesterday and loved being able to pitch and hit, just like them. She made her dad proud that night when she did a practice swing and asked him if she was dropping her shoulder in her swing. I guess she's heard a little baseball talk. She loves going to preschool and to ballet. I love my little princess. We're just never sure what's going to come out of her mouth.

Max is growing up on us! He's now seventeen months and almost legal for nursery. He doesn't talk, but who needs to with all of the chatter we get out of Q (she seriously does not stop)? He just points and grunts, and either gets happy if we guess right, or shakes his head no until we do. He's a busy little boy and is totally getting into climbing on everything. He totally completes our family.

Life is crazy, but life is good.

So fun to hear about your cute family! I hope you are having a super duper happy birthday! There's just something so exciting about going to meetings, running kids around, and the list goes on.....on your birthday. I hope it was a happy day regardless! Love ya!
